ITINERARY
Muktinath Darshan

Muktinath (Muktidham/Muktishetra) is a famous pilgrimage site for Hindus as well as Buddhists. Hindus believe this is the god of salvation. According to Sri Vaishnava philosophy it is also one of the eight most sacred shrines. Vaishanavs people also call this temple Svayam Vyaka Ksetras. Buddhists people believe this is the place where Guru Rinpoche also known as Padmasambhava meditated while on his way to Tibet. Muktinath is located on a high mountain range at an altitude of 3710 meters in Mustang district of Nepal. The main shrine is a pagoda shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. Inside the temple there is statue of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Laxmi, Saraswoti, Janaki, Garuda, Lava-Kush and Sapta Rishis. Behind it there are 108 waterspouts in the shape of cow headed pour holy water. Here lots of pilgrimage takes bath from the ice-cold holy water. About hundred meters south of main shrine there is another famous temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame. The eternal flame that has been burning inside the temple continuously since time immemorial. Black amniotes fossils, thought as the embodiment of Lord Vishnu is found in plenty in the area and pilgrims travel long distances over rugged trails to collect them.

ITINERARY - 1
MUKTINATH DARSHAN BY HELICOPTER
Day 01
Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel. If time permits evening visit to Pashupatinath temple and see arati and bhajan. Overnight at hotel
Day 02
Sightseeing tour of Bouddha Nath, Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel
Day 03
Morning transfer to Kathmandu Airport. Fly to Muktinath by Helicopter (1:40 minutes). The helicopter will be landed at Ranipawa (3710m). Walk to Muktinath (30 minutes). Darshan of Muktinath Temple. Take a bath on 108 water spouts (depends on interest). Back to Ranipawa. Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day on your own. Overnight at hotel
Day 04
Departure to your onward Destination
ITINERARY - 2
MUKTINATH DARSHAN BY FLIGHT
Day 01
Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel. If time permits evening visit to Pashupatinath temple and see arati and bhajan. Overnight at hotel
Day 02
Sightseeing tour of Bouddha Nath, Budhanilkantha and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel
Day 03
Fly to Pokhara. After check in hotel sightseeing tour of Mahadev Cave, David Fall, Tibetan Refugee camp and Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel
Day 04
Morning fly from Pokhara to Jomsom. Upon arrival in Jomsom walk few minutes to Jeep Stand and drive to Muktinath (1 hour 30 minutes). Walk around half an hour from Jeep Stand to the temple. Darshna/ puja of Muktinath temple and take a bath on 108 water spouts. Then back to Jomsom by Jeep. Overnight at mountain lodge
Day 05
Morning fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara. From Pokhara fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day on your own. Overnight at hotel
Day 06
Departure to your onward Destination

MUKTINATH DARSHAN BY DRIVE
Day 01
Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel. If time permits evening visit to Pashupatinath temple and see arati and bhajan. Overnight at hotel
Day 02

Day 03
